Alternative Photos

When I set up the site it was with the intention of giving an “Alternative” view of items.  Up until now, on the Maryburgh Community Woodland part of the site I have just stuck to “traditional” photos.  This page, is for the “Alternative” versions. I hope you enjoy them.

This is a digitised photo of the area of the woodland called the Porridge Bowl - due to its hollowed out shape. The undergrowth is a mix of purples and pinks with the hollow highlighted with a darker pink section. The trees are a mix of pinks, blues and purples standing against a very vibrant green background.
This is a digitised photo of a hypericum plant. The leaves are coloured in dark pinks and oranges with highlights of white. the flowers are a warm, vibrant pink with deep blue highlights.
In the background is a mix of yellows, pinks, turquoise and purples all blended together to give an almost translucent effect. in the foreground is a spike of willowherb flowers. They are standing very vibrant against the background and have an almost cartoonish appearance.
The background is pastel almost luminescent and a large spiked flowering head of a Willowherb is appearing from the bottom right hand corner. The Willowherb has been digitised in yellows, oranges, a splash or red and green.
A digitised woodland image with the background in a dark blue while the trees and undergrowth are in a mix of reds, warm orange and yellows
This is a digitised image of a broom bush. The background is a mottled mix of white and blues. In the foreground the branches are a pale green. However, the broom flowers are a mix of different shades of dusty blues.
A digitised woodland scene. The dark inky blue from the depths of the woods is gradually spilling into the foreground of the image. The trees and undergrowth are a bright vibrant blue.
A digitised woodland scene where the sky area is bright yellow. Against that are trunks of trees which are in lots of different shades of pinks. The undergrowth in the foreground is a mix of lighter and darker pinks.
This is a digitised photo of one of the big Memory Trees within the woodland. The tree is colour with dark blues standing against a very warm, almost glowing, orange background. The other trees in the image are coloured with the same blues and oranges.
This is a digitised woodland scene where there are a mix of large and small trunks. In the background there is a dark blue which is casting its colour onto the trees. In the foreground the trees are bright orange. In between there are various shades of yellows and green which give the impression of really bright light hitting both the trees and spilling onto sections of the woodland floor.
This is a digitised photo of a woodland scene. In the centre front we can see a band of oranges which give the impression of a path. On the left of the path and further along the path are the trunks of trees which are coloured in different shades of blue. The rest of the undergrowth are a mix of oranges, greens and blues. This is a very vibrant image.
